Subject:- Advertisement for UT Cadre post of Sub Inspector requisitioned by the Home Department under provisions of the Jammu & Kashmir Civil Services and rules made thereunder read with the Jammu & Kashmir Police Rules, 1960 along with amendment notified and other relevant rules governing the subject.

Their is written youth is demanding fast Recruitment. Jkssb told that they will recruit these posts on fast track their is more than 4 months gone after written but still no result & physical update.
Total No. Of posts is = 1200
Written test was also held but students are waiting for result as they want to prepare for physical test. Most students also demand their should be at leat 2 months gape for physical test after result.
7200 students will select for physical test among them 1200 will be in final selection list after physical test
As pervious chairman Khalid jahangir sir told in news that it will take only few days and also vlw recruitment notification will out but still there is not single update related thses.
Physical Test Information
i. For Males:
i) Height: 5’-6” (minimum)
ii) Chest girth: 32” (unexpanded)
iii) Chest girth: 331/2” (expanded)
II. For Females: Height : 5’-2” ( minimum
Provided that for the candidates belonging to the Gorkha Community, the minimum Height shall be relaxable by 2”.
(ii) The candidates who meet the above physical standard shall be required to undergo the Physical Endurance Test.
c) Physical Endurance Test
A) . For Males candidates
→Long Race: 1600 meters in 61/2 minutes (Six minutes thirty seconds)
→Pushups: 20 (one cycle of up and down to be counted as one)
II. For Female candidates
→Long Race: 1000 meters in 61/2 minutes (Six minutes and thirty seconds)
Shot put(4Kgs) : 141/2 feet in three attempts
Important Update
When sub inspector result declared after few days students check FAA & Sub Inspector Result they saw huge difference in result. They found FAA topper got low points in Sub Inspector & Same They found Sub Inspector Topper got low marks in FAA. Then they check it carefully and they found thier is some kind of Scam in sub inspector result. Students do protest related this issue untill government takeany action. Now finally a 3 members of committee will investigate this issue if they find any scam their then board will issue notice related that. Committee will investigate within 15 days.
